Summary Administration: Estates between $150,000.01 and $500,000
Summary administration is the probate procedure used for estates in value between $150,000.01 and $500,000.00. It is highly recommended that you retain an attorney to represent your interests in a summary administration. The procedure requires the drafting of court documents, proper notice to different parties, and appearances at court hearings. The Civil Law Self-Help Center does not have forms for summary administration. Again, due to the complexity of the procedures and the value of the estate, counsel is strongly suggested.
